Educator Wellness

What's it about?

The purpose of the workshop is for each of you to…

  • reflect on your strengths and professional learning needs
  • determine your values and priorities and discuss ways to advocate to get your needs met
  • collaborate with your fellow colleagues
  • practice stress relief methods
  • learn wellness strategies around nutrition, movement, and mindfulness
  • revisit your why: your reason for becoming an educator in the first place


What to expect:

  • A hands-on experience where you'll be able to share as much or as little as you'd like
  • Activities and homework to help gain clarity
  • Developing an action plan for moving forward
  • Workshops led by Kristin. See bio.


* Please note that this is not therapy. It is a place for educators to reflect, grow, and support each other.

The 3 pillars:

Wellness  -  Purpose  -  Community

Our work is inspired by the 9 Blue Zones pillars (learn more about the Blue Zones from these books on our resource page) which we've organized into 3 areas: wellness, purpose, and community. Together in a supportive community, we'll learn, grow, explore, and listen to our own inner teacher as we create an intentioned life.

Why now?


  1. Oftentimes we'll find ourselves floating along, not thinking much about where we're headed and boom! We're wondering how we got here. How am I this old? What am I even doing? What will I do with my remaining time on Earth? Join a group of educators who are looking to be intentional about making the most of this lovely, messy, painful, joyful life right alongside you.
  2. Burnout can creep up on even the best of us. Life as an educator isn't easy. Let's work together to manage stress, maintain wellness, and remember why we entered this beautiful, impossible helping profession in the first place.
